CODOFIL Print Ads
Here are the finished CODOFIL print ads that I photographed. I was very happy to work on this project because the preservation of the Cajun French language is very important to me. Also, the chair in these ads were built in Ville Platte, LA by my grandfather's uncle about 100 years ago. I thought that the chair would not only tie the three portraits together but add a bit of history and authenticity, even if I am the only one that knows.

these are beautiful. my Granny speaks cajun french and I know only a few words. Maybe there will be classes somewhere near me soon? (i'm in the br).
My son went to school in Avery Island, LA (home of Tabasco Sauce), they had a French immersion program so he started learning French in the second grade! It was great to have him come home from school and start speaking French to me, I'd have to call his Great Grand Mother to ask her what he was saying because he wouldn't tell me lol!
